Steve and I also got custom made pajama's at our tailor in Hoi An. We decided to go for the good stuff (Japanese Silk). Since he had just spent three weeks in Israel cutting his teeth bargaining with Israeli shopkeepers everywhere he went, Steve took the lead on negotiating our price.
Steve went all out getting tops and bottoms. I just went for the pants. I'm not sure if you can tell in the pictures, but he even got his initials sowed onto his pajama top!
I say if you want to become better at bargaining, forget taking classes... just spend a week shopping in the Arab Shuk (market) in Jerusalem.
